A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal (cancellation) in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item of goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

Living-Edition GmbH
Am Holzbrunnen 1-3
66121 Saarbrücken
Germany
Tel.: +49 681 7611611
Email: info@living-edition.de

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

We bear the cost of returning goods that, due to their nature, can normally be returned by post. You bear the direct cost of returning goods that, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned by post (freight/shipping goods), estimated at a maximum of approximately €65 per item.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

General Information

  • Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Return the goods to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging.

  • Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.

  • Please note that the above points 1–2 are not prerequisites for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

B. Withdrawal Form

If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete and return this form.
